Probodh Chiplunkar

Probodh is an entrepreneur and an industry veteran for the last 25 years.  He has a unique ability of both being a visionary, as well as building and driving operations. Combining the value of business and industry expertise along with advancement in digital technology, he has helped many organizations become successful and monetize on their technology investments.

He is passionate about both – frugal innovation on the new edge technologies, as well as large enterprise digital programs across industries including Manufacturing, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Life Sciences, Services,  and Smart Cities including Fed & SLED government.

Probodh uses technology to best transform an Organization’s Vision, build Strategy for harmonizing Processes & Applications, creating integration, and eventually workstyle to create maximum value for customers!  Utilizing the value of AI, Analytics & Experience, he leads the company’s product & market development efforts for sustainability as a platform as well as a SaaS persona-based app.

As a key member of the Executive Management, Probodh led the Digital Transformation Business Unit at KPIT. He led the company into building propositions that helped create differentiated customer experience, increase operational efficiencies, and create new business models for customers.  Helping eventually build the business value of over $200 million over 5 years. Through transformative initiatives, his business unit helped organizations drive value through the utilization of technologies, including iCAMS (Internet of Things, Cloud, Analytics, Mobility and Social Intelligence). His key areas of focus include thought leadership in digital business transformation, business strategy & solutions with customers, and driving customer success through zero-defect execution. With global responsibility across industry verticals and delivery for the practices, Probodh was responsible for the digital thought leadership across KPIT.

Beyond work, Probodh’s passion lies in music, tennis, teaching, and spending time with his wife, three children and two dogs!
