The Silicon Partners, Inc. (“TSP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

This policy applies to thesiliconpartners.com and its subdomains, our marketing and event activities, our email programs, and our recruiting processes. It does not apply to personal data we process on behalf of our clients while delivering services — in those cases our client is the controller, and their privacy notice governs. Our handling of that data is set out in the applicable master services agreement and data processing agreement.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you give us directly

We do not require or request sensitive personal information (such as health data, biometric data, or government identifiers) through our website. Where such data is required for employment or immigration purposes, we collect it separately and with a specific notice.

1.2 Information we collect automatically

When you visit our website, we and our service providers collect:

Device type, operating system, browser type and language
Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, referring URL, exit pages
Search terms used on our site
Email engagement data (opens, clicks, forwards) where you have received email from us

1.3 Information we obtain from third parties

Because we are a business-to-business company, we obtain business contact information from sources other than you directly. We want to be explicit about this. These sources include:

B2B data and intelligence providers (for example ZoomInfo), which supply business contact details, firmographic data, technology-install data, and buyer intent signals
Content syndication partners (for example NetLine and similar networks), which deliver leads who downloaded TSP content hosted on a third-party platform
Advertising and social platforms — including LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, where you submit your details to us through LinkedIn’s advertising products
Event organizers and sponsors, who share attendee or lead lists in connection with our sponsorship
Publicly available sources, including company websites, public professional profiles, press releases, and public filings
Referral partners and technology partners, including SAP and UiPath, where a joint opportunity exists

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

Respond to inquiries, demo requests, and proposal requests
Deliver requested content, newsletters (including TSP Edge), and event invitations
Qualify and prioritize sales opportunities, including scoring and routing leads to the right team
Personalize our website, content recommendations, and advertising
Plan, deliver, and measure marketing campaigns across email, paid social, search, and content syndication
Conduct account-based marketing and targeted outreach to organizations we believe are a fit for our services
Perform analytics on website performance, campaign performance, and funnel conversion
Deliver, support, and improve our services and products
Evaluate candidates for employment
Meet legal, tax, audit, and contractual obligations
Protect our systems and prevent fraud or abuse

2.1 Automated processing and AI

We use software, including AI-assisted tools, to summarize inquiries, enrich records, score leads, and draft outreach. A human reviews and makes all decisions that materially affect you, including hiring decisions. We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals. We do not use personal information submitted through our website to train publicly available AI models.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have carried out a balancing assessment; you may request a summary of it. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

Where we obtain your information from a third party rather than from you, we provide this notice in accordance with Article 14 of the GDPR at the point of first contact or within one month, whichever is earlier.

4. Cookies, Tracking, and Advertising

We use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies. Our cookie banner lets you accept, reject, or configure non-essential categories. You can change your choices at any time via the cookie settings link in our site footer.

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. All other categories are set only after you consent, where consent is legally required. For visitors in the EEA and UK, we operate Google Consent Mode and do not fire advertising or analytics tags before consent is given.

Do Not Track: Our website does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing for California residents.

5. Marketing Communications

You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by emailing [privacy@thesiliconpartners.com]. We honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days and typically much faster.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional or service communications, such as invoices, contract notices, security alerts, or replies to your inquiries.

If you are in Canada, we send commercial electronic messages only where we have express or implied consent under CASL, and we identify ourselves and provide an unsubscribe mechanism in every message.

6. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell personal information for money. We do disclose personal information in the following ways:

Service providers and processors. We use vendors under written contracts that restrict them to processing data on our instructions. Categories include:

Cloud hosting and infrastructure
Website and content management
CRM and marketing automation
Email delivery
B2B data enrichment and intent data
Advertising and analytics platforms
Applicant tracking and background screening
Professional advisors (legal, accounting, audit)

TSP group entities. We share data among TSP affiliates and subsidiaries for delivery, support, and administration, under intragroup agreements.

Advertising platforms. When we use retargeting or matched-audience advertising, we may share hashed identifiers, such as a hashed email address, with platforms including LinkedIn and Google. Under California law this may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. See Section 10 for how to opt out.

Partners. Where you engage with us through a joint SAP or UiPath opportunity, we may share your details with that partner so they can support the opportunity. We will tell you when this applies.

Legal and corporate. We disclose data where required by law, subpoena, court order, or valid governmental request; to establish or defend legal claims; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

7. International Transfers

TSP operates in the United States and India, and serves clients globally. Your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and accessed from countries other than your own, including the United States and India.

Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we rely on:

Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable
Supplementary technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls
Adequacy decisions where one applies

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

Where a longer period is required by law, contract, or an active legal hold, we retain the data for that longer period and then delete or anonymize it.

9. Security

TSP maintains an information security management system certified to ISO/IEC 27001, and we are also certified to ISO 9001. Our controls include:

TLS encryption for data in transit and encryption at rest for stored data
Role-based access control and least-privilege access provisioning
Multi-factor authentication for internal systems
Network segmentation, logging, and monitoring
Vendor security assessment before onboarding
Regular security awareness training for employees
Documented incident response and breach notification procedures

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authorities as required by applicable law, including within 72 hours of becoming aware where the GDPR applies.

10. Your Privacy Rights

10.1 EEA, UK, and Switzerland

You have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict processing; object to processing based on legitimate interests, including objecting to direct marketing at any time; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.

10.2 California (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Categories of personal information we have collected in the past 12 months: identifiers; commercial information; internet or network activity; geolocation (approximate, from IP); professional or employment-related information; education information; and inferences drawn from the above. We do not collect sensitive personal information through our website.

Sources: you directly; automated collection from our website; B2B data providers; content syndication partners; advertising platforms; event organizers; public sources; partners.

Business purposes for collection: as described in Section 2.

Categories disclosed for a business purpose in the past 12 months: identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, and professional information, to the service provider categories listed in Section 6.

Sale/sharing: We do not sell personal information for money. We do share identifiers and internet activity information with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising, which California law treats as “sharing.”

To opt out, use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our website footer, reject advertising cookies in our cookie banner, or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. You may also email [privacy@thesiliconpartners.com].

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we will require proof of authorization.

10.3 India

If you are in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the right to access a summary of your personal data, to correction and erasure, to grievance redressal, and to nominate another individual to exercise your rights. 10.4 Other US states

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Montana — have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling. Some states provide a right to appeal a denied request; if we deny your request, we will explain how to appeal.

10.5 How to exercise your rights

We will verify your identity, usually by confirming control of the email address in our records or by matching details we already hold. We respond within 30 days for GDPR requests and 45 days for US state law requests, and will tell you if we need an extension.

Exercising your rights is free. We may charge a reasonable fee or decline only where a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, and we will explain why.

11. Job Applicants and Candidates

If you apply for a role at TSP, we process your application data to assess your suitability, communicate with you, conduct interviews and reference checks, and — where an offer is made — complete background and work authorization checks.

We rely on pre-contractual steps and legitimate interests as our legal bases, and consent where we retain your details in a talent pool beyond the retention period in Section 8. Application data is stored in our applicant tracking system and shared with hiring managers and interviewers on a need-to-know basis.

We do not use automated decision-making to reject candidates without human review.

12. Children

Our website and services are directed at businesses and are not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-Party Links and Embedded Content

Our website links to and embeds content from third parties, including LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo, Google Maps, and partner websites. These parties operate under their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top. If the change is material — for example, a new purpose for processing or a new category of recipient — we will provide prominent notice on our website and, where required, notify you directly by email before the change takes effect.

16. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local data protection law in your jurisdiction applies. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, India’s DPDP Act, or other applicable privacy law.
